The new Wholezilla.com is set to launch tomorrow. We have put so much time and effort into this project over the last year. I’d like to thank all of those involved in the development of the 1st ever, TRUE, Business to Business Wholesale Shopping Cart Search Engine! Wolezilla’s design is impeccable, and its search results are unparalleled. Wholezilla.com will be scouring wholesale products from 1000’s of manufacturers, wholesalers, importers, drop shippers and distributors conducting e-commerce. Retailers will finally have the unbiased ability to scan multiple products, from multiple vendors, and make much more informative buying decisions. Get ready! Wholezilla is going to change the way wholesale buyers locate wholesale merchandise online.

I am impressed with you knowledge on the subject of web marketing. Much of the advice that you give, I have validated in my own efforts. I am very curious about the idea of a wholesale product comparison site like Wholezilla. I buy huge liquidations and wholesale them well below wholesale and in much smaller lots on my ecommerce site (http://www.closeoutservices.com). I have tried other comparison sites such as Froogle and PriceGrabber with very little success. Could it be because those sites are more retail oriented and I am wholesale? Are there other B2B wholesale sites or strategies out there that I am missing?

Tom,
I’m thrilled to hear that you take some of our tips to heart. To answer your question: Yes. Froogle and PriceGrabber are not B2B sites; Therefore, retailers ( resellers, drop shippers, power sellers, auctions, etc….) would not typically use a consumer venue to seek resalable merchandise. You would be much better off independently listing each of your lots on wholesale search engines and directories. I would recommend listing your lots and product categories as separate campaigns and directing keyword searches to the url where you have that category or product. I can tell that you certainly take time to make your site user friendly and organized. You’re also doing a pretty good job of picking up some organic placement. The best thing you can do for your site right now is “speak loud” on the vertical search engines out there relevant to your business. Here are a few we own and some that I highly recommend:
